Problem when building the JAVA examples with DDS Community Edition

Recommended Posts

I am a beginner with OpenSplice DDS.

I have installed and try to use the community edition but I have some problems when trying to compile the JAVA examples that go with the installation.

More specifically I try to build the Java Hello World standalone example.

I go to the folder /home/nick/HDE/x86_64.linux/examples/dcps/HelloWorld/java/standalone

and through the command line i press the command              make

, but then I get the error:

cp ":classes/:../../../../../jar/dcpssaj.jar:"   -d classes/ HelloWorldData/*.java
cp: target 'HelloWorldData/MsgTypeSupportOperations.java' is not a directory
Makefile.saj_helloworld_types:59: recipe for target 'classes/HelloWorldData/*.class' failed
make[1]: [classes/HelloWorldData/*.class] Error 1 (ignored)
cd classes/ && jar cvfm ./saj_helloworld_types.jar saj_helloworld_types.manifest HelloWorldData/*.class
HelloWorldData/*.class : no such file or directory
added manifest
Makefile.saj_helloworld_types:40: recipe for target 'saj_helloworld_types.jar' failed
make[1]: *** [saj_helloworld_types.jar] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/nick/HDE/x86_64.linux/examples/dcps/HelloWorld/java/standalone'
Makefile:25: recipe for target 'saj_helloworld_types' failed
make: *** [saj_helloworld_types] Error 2

Do you find any idea?

(JAVA_HOME has been set to  /usr/lib/jvm/java-9-oracle/bin   )
